The season finale Music on Main concert series on September 18, band TBA

Bring a chair and enjoy an evening of live music from 7pm-9pm.  The audience seating area opens after 5:30pm, early admission is prohibited.  Admission is free. Alcoholic beverages, backpacks, or coolers are prohibited. Please leave your pets comfortably at home. A Hendersonville City ordinance allows event organizers to exclude animals from the event space for the health, safety and welfare of the community, dogs, patrons, and vendors and their products.

The concert series is held every Friday evening from July 24 through September 18, at the Visitor Center, located at 201 South Main Street in Downtown Hendersonville, NC.

In case of inclement weather the concert will be postponed until 8pm.  If the weather does not improve by 8pm the performance will be cancelled.

Summer Concert Series Sponsors –  Burger King, Firehouse Subs, Kathy Watkins Preferred Realty and Mast General Store, and are organized by the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority.

Street Dance

The Street Dances celebrates its102nd anniversary!  The Dance features mountain heritage bluegrass music, square dancing and clogging on Monday July 27 August 10, 24 & September 14. The evening starts at 6:30pm, when the caller, teaches audience members some basic square dancing moves so that everyone can join in on the fun led by the evening’s clogging group.

The entertainment TBA.

In addition to you danging shoes, bring a chair to enjoy an evening filled with live music, dancing and entertainment from 7 – 9pm. The audience seating area opens after 5:30pm, and early admission is prohibited. Please leave your pets comfortably at home. Admission is free. No alcoholic beverages, backpacks or coolers allowed.

The weekly Music on Main concert series will feature the Rewind House Band, The Rewind House Band plays such crowd pleasers as the Bill Withers’ classic “Ain’t No Sunshine,” Van Morrison’s “Brown-Eyed Girl,” Otis Redding’s “The Dock of the Bay,” Bob Seger’s “Hollywood Nights,” Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” and “Maneater” from Hall and Oates. The crowd is encouraged to sing along and dance whenever the spirit moves them
