The Cider, Wine & Dine Weekend features Henderson County wineries and cideries partnering together to present a weekend filled with a long list of activities including: artisan hard cider, local wines, food, educational programs, music, tours and more; events will take place at scenic and unique local venues.

The Hendersonville Farmers Market offers fresh produce, meats, flowers, baked goods, crafts, and so much more. The Cheers! Trail Passport Weekend includes entertainment, food, tastings and more.  Check back often for updates.

The Cheers! Trail Passport guides people to each tasting room to experience the award-winning beverages Henderson County has to offer. The Passport can be purchased for $10 at the Visitor Center. Visit at least 12 venues and get your Passport stamped to redeem a gift valued at $10. Bring the stamped Passport to the Visitor Center, to choose from a set of 4 stone coasters, wine stopper, stainless steel wine glass or a waiters bottle opening tool. The Passport is available at the Visitor Center, 201 S. Main St., or click to order online at Cheers! Trail and at participating venues.

The venues offer space for people to spread out and practice social distancing.

    October 2 – movie night showing Jurassic Park / October 3 & 4 – live music TBA

  • Mills River Brewing Co. –  is hosting Oktoberfest on October 2nd, featuring a special menu, an Oktoberfest beer release, contests, and more! Wear your best Oktoberfest attire to potentially win best dressed. CANCELED: Historic Johnson Farm Spring Festival

This event has been canceled due to COVID-19.

 

Enjoy the 30th Annual Spring Festival at Historic Johnson Farm, a heritage education center. Step back into the past for a family-friendly, entertaining event suitable for all family and individuals of all ages. The event is from 10 am to 4 pm. The festival features heritage crafts and activities, farm animals, house tours, live music by renowned youth fiddler Lillian Chase and the Deadpan String Band, food for purchase, and more! All activities take place on the 15-acre farm that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a NC Cultural Treasure. The farm features 10 historic structures including an 1880s brick farmhouse and a 1923 boarding house that is home to the Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists.

Don your wildest hat and join us at the Mad Hatter Opening Celebration for Cider, Wine & Dine Weekend hosted by The Horse Shoe Farm! Sample cider, wine, and other libations from the area’s finest producers and enjoy delectable bites from local chefs and food trucks while you take in the scenery and sunset. Enjoy dancing the night away to the entertainment and be surprised by other wonders. Don’t forget to wear your wildest, most festive hat to mark the occasion! Tickets are $50 in advance and $75 at the door. Cancelled due to concerns of Coronavirus.
