The Cider, Wine & Dine Weekend features Henderson County wineries and cideries partnering together to present a weekend filled with a list of activities including artisan hard cider, local wines, food, educational programs, music, tours, and more; events will take place at scenic and unique local venues. Holidays at the Hendersonville Farmers Market

Holidays at the Hendersonville Farmers Market

Two Holiday Farmers Markets will bring seasonal, farm-fresh products and locally made artisan crafts. Hosted by the Hendersonville Farmers Market, the Holiday Markets will take place outdoors on November 28 and December 5 from 9 am until 1 pm at the Historic Train Depot in the Seventh Avenue District. Marketgoers will find their favorite regular season vendors from Hendersonville Farmers Market offering seasonal food products, baked goods, and more, in addition to a plethora of handmade artisan crafts. In addition to the Holiday Markets, downtown Hendersonville merchants will be promoting Small Business Saturday on November 28, and on December 5 Main Street businesses will celebrate with a holiday-themed “Whoo Loves Hendo” closed-street event.

On this first Saturday of November, Main Street will be closed to allow for pedestrian fun and the expansion of downtown restaurants and retail stores. Just off Main Street, along Third Ave. E., be sure to also stop by the bee mural site to watch The Good of The Hive artist Matt Willey painting pollinators on the exterior wall of Hands On! Children’s Museum; check out a colony of live bees in the glass observation hive; purchase local honey, jun (a healthy beverage made with raw honey), and bakery items; shop for local artwork; buy a souvenir T-shirt; and more. Vendors/exhibitors include Honeybee Bliss, Bee City USA – Hendersonville, The Good of the Hive, Hands On! The Cheers! Trail Passport Weekend includes entertainment, food, tastings and more.  Check back often for updates.

The Cheers! Trail Passport guides people to each tasting room to experience the award-winning beverages Henderson County has to offer. The Passport can be purchased for $10 at the Visitor Center. Visit at least 12 venues and get your Passport stamped to redeem a gift valued at $10. Bring the stamped Passport to the Visitor Center, to choose from a set of 4 stone coasters, wine stopper, stainless steel wine glass or a waiters bottle opening tool. The Passport is available at the Visitor Center, 201 S. Main St., or click to order online at Cheers! Trail and at participating venues.

The venues offer space for people to spread out and practice social distancing.
