Carolina Ace Hardware wants everyone to feel safe, including Santa, so we will have to maintain social distancing from Santa, but the pictures will go on! Farm City Day brings the farm to the city so families can learn about the importance of agriculture in everyday life. The National Gingerbread House Competition™ & Display at the Omni Grove Park Inn showcases competitors from around the country in one of the nation’s most celebrated and competitive holiday events! The actual competition is on 11/18, and the public can view the display from November 20th – January 4th on Sundays from 3 – 9pm, and Monday-Thursdays from 9am – 9pm, excluding November 27, 28, December 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31, and January 1, 2020 (when it is only open to hotel guests). There is no charge to see the display, but there is a parking fee of $25 for self-parking or $30 for valet, with half of the parking proceeds going to benefit local charities.

The Legend of Tommy Hodges is an Outdoor Drama about Halloween night 1906 in the Blue Ridge mountains, when one of the students from the Biltmore Forest School, Tommy Hodges, disappeared. The Legend of Tommy Hodges is an Outdoor Drama about Halloween night 1906 in the Blue Ridge mountains, when one of the students from the Biltmore Forest School, Tommy Hodges, disappeared. Follow along the wheelchair accessible one-mile Biltmore Campus Trail to meet characters from the historic Pink Beds community, hear stories, some based on the diaries of students of the Biltmore Forest School from 1903-1907, and find out what happened to Tommy Hodges.
The audience walks the trail from scene to scene, so wear warm clothing and walking shoes, and bring a flashlight. Hot cider and cookies are provided after each show. Performances start at 6:30pm and 8pm on each day.

The Antique Engine and Tractor Show will be fun for all ages and will include an exhibition of antique tractors, hit n’ miss engines of all sizes and a tractor pull, parade daily at 2pm, kids activities, and vendors selling quality antiques, parts, tires, food vendors, mountain crafters and more! $8/day and kids under 12 are free.
