Summer Outdoor Concerts
The start of summer outdoor concert season held at the Visitor Center has been pushed back. Music will fill the air starting with Monday Night Live! on Monday nights August 17 &. 31, followed by Music on Main on Friday Nights August 21 – September 25. The 102nd Annual Street Dances will run Monday nights August 24 & September 14. All concerts are 7-9pm on the Visitor Center stage.
Several modifications have been made this year to comply with state and federal health guidelines. To accommodate these mandates, the designated dance area in front of the stage will be used to distance the audience from the performers. Dancing will not be allowed for public safety. In addition to the Visitor Center parking lot, the block in front of the Visitor Center, between Allen & Barnwell Streets, will be dedicated to seating, which will give the audience more room for seating to listen to the concert. This block will be used during the Music on Main concerts only, Monday Night Live! and the Street Dances will be held in the Visitor Center parking lot.
Bring a chair and sit back, relax and enjoy the music from 7pm-9pm. Seating area opens after 5:30pm; early admission is prohibited. Please leave your pets comfortably at home. Admission is free. Alcoholic beverages, backpacks & coolers are prohibited.
In case of inclement weather the concert will be postponed until 8pm; if the weather does not cooperate by 8pm the concert will be cancelled.
