Music on Main draws thousands of people downtown every Friday evening from July 9 through August 27. Music on Main features a diverse line-up ranging from pop, oldies, rock to contemporary music. The Street Dance is a Hendersonville tradition that started in 1918 when the citizens took to the street to welcome home the soldiers from WWI. Enjoy mountain heritage bluegrass music, square dancing, and clogging every other Monday evening from July 12 through August 23. Bring a chair, admission is free, the concerts are held from 7 pm-9 pm. No alcoholic beverages, backpacks, or coolers are allowed.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will be postponed until 8 pm, if the weather does not improve by 8 pm, the performance will be canceled.
