What to Expect on an Average Market Saturday
Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere celebrating food, farm and family with live music every Saturday! At least 25 vendors from a 60-mile radius participate in each market offering produce, meat, eggs, dairy, honey, baked goods, crafts, beverages, and more. Special events such as Tomato Festival and Pollinator Day will occur at the market regularly throughout the season. Food trucks will also be a staple, allowing visitors to enjoy breakfast or lunch on their farmers market adventure.
In 2020, Hendersonville Farmers Market was a SNAP/EBT retailer with Double Dollar support from Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project. They were able to MATCH dollar for dollar any SNAP/EBT spending at the market.
